Virtual Football World: The 1st World Cup (Asia Zone-Stage 2)

Asian Qualification: Second Stage Rankings

Group A: Uzbekistan dominated with a 4-2-0 record. China played efficiently, securing crucial points against Syria to advance. Syria underperformed, while Sri Lanka grabbed their first point in a respectable effort.

Group B: Iraq swept the group with a 5-1 record. Thailand edged out India for second place with superior technical play and counterattacks. Bhutan earned a historic 3-point victory.

Group C: Qatar was flawless (6-0-0). Palestine showed incredible willpower to advance historically, while Kuwait and Yemen failed to keep pace.

Group D: South Korea remained perfect (18 pts) to prove their dominance. Tajikistan showed great discipline to follow them, while Cambodia and Hong Kong were relegated to practice partners.

Group E: A surprise outcome—Bahrain topped the group with grit. Seeded UAE struggled to just 8 points. Chinese Taipei and Turkmenistan were eliminated despite home-field resistance.

Group F: Jordan showed elite offensive efficiency. Lebanon followed with typical West Asian tenacity. The Philippines fell short, and Guam finished at the bottom.

Group G: Japan dominated with technical perfection. Kyrgyzstan followed, proving that Central Asian football is entering a golden age. Myanmar and Nepal showed a clear gap in class against the top two.

Group H: Australia crushed the field with 18 points. North Korea’s "iron defense" edged out Vietnam for the second spot.

Group I: Huge Upset! Asian powerhouse Iran failed to advance. Malaysia played epic football, topping the group with 14 points, followed by steady Oman.

Group J: A "Red Cyclone!" Indonesia topped the group, defeating traditional giant Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia recovered to secure the second spot, while Singapore and Afghanistan were left behind.

Third Stage Groupings

  • Group A: Australia, UAE, Tajikistan, Palestine

  • Group B: South Korea, Jordan, Malaysia, Thailand

  • Group C: Japan, Oman, Indonesia, Lebanon

  • Group D: Qatar, Uzbekistan, China, Kyrgyzstan

  • Group E: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, North Korea

Third Stage Analysis

  • Group A: Australia’s physical edge remains the key. However, Tajikistan’s defensive discipline and Palestine’s willpower make this a tricky group. UAE will need to improve their inconsistent form.

  • Group B: The most exciting group! Malaysia is riding high after eliminating Iran. They must navigate two agile, counter-attacking Southeast Asian rivals (Thailand) and the powerhouse South Korea.

  • Group C: Japan is nearly untouchable. The battle for second is a dogfight: Indonesia’s rapid transitions and home-field intensity are a nightmare for Oman and Lebanon.

  • Group D: A massive challenge for China. Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan form a "Central Asian encirclement" based on physical play. Qatar is the favorite, and China must take at least 4-6 points from the Central Asian teams to survive.

  • Group E: Iraq is more aggressive than Saudi Arabia right now. Saudi Arabia must prove their worth after being pushed by Indonesia. North Korea’s "iron defense" will likely play spoiler, while Bahrain will be tested by Iraq’s high-impact style.
